You Are Never Alone

I found this image on FB from a great artist and inspiring woman named Heather Stillufsen who has Rose Hill Designs by Heather Stillufsen. Her daily posts inspire me with her creativity and her caring messages.

I was drawn especially to this one since times are hard these days for many people and I’ve been seeing/hearing that people are feeling very alone in their lives. The quarantine and fear of the Covid-19 virus has wreaked havoc on the peace in many lives. People are frustrated, sad and worried for so many reasons that when mired in these thoughts, they perseverate on them and continue the looping of negativity in their lives.

I’m a kind listener who has the patience, understanding and energy to help when needed. Through my own varied life experiences, my background has enabled me to understand many difficult life situations. While I was experiencing these, I often wondered why I had to go through so much pain and suffering until it became clear to me. One cannot fully understand what someone else is enduring if we haven’t experienced something similar. While I may not have walked a mile in your shoes, I may have been on a similar road and am able to connect with how you’re feeling.

To know that there is an option when you are feeling alone is helpful. To reach out to another person, even a stranger whom you don’t really know like me, can feel overwhelming. But when someone reaches out her hand to walk with you, it can also be very comforting.
