Do you find it’s a hard question to answer when someone asks you, “What do you do?” because I always get tongue-tied. I am sure I should figure out what my ‘elevator pitch’ is and work on that a little more, but that’s just not me. I don’t just do one thing. I do a lot of things and it changes all the time. But perhaps simply put, I feel like I’m a People Connector.
I know that sounds like a strange term to use – People Connector – but I love all types of people and I love to connect them together! For examples: Do you need a chiropractor? I have a great recommendation. Do you need help with your taxes? I have the person for you. Do you like pizza? Let me tell you where to get a delicious one. Do you need a massage or some Reiki? Well, then you need to see this person at this location. Are you looking for hypnotherapy? Call my friend. Do you want help with tile work at your home? I have a great person for that! And so on and so on….
By connecting with so many people from different walks of life, I learn so much! I love learning so it makes it invigorating to me and I like to share what and who I know that can help you.
So, it’s not that I’m not consistent in what I do. Essentially I’m doing the same thing, but in slightly different ways, depending upon the other person. So What’s absolutely consistent? It’s my open heart to help and to allow answers to come through me.
I’ve helped people to market their businesses. Extraordinary ideas came to me for them which was amazingly fun and exciting to me (and to them). I love to connect people so that’s been a blast as well. I also like to work with people to help them process situations, relationships and experiences. We put together the puzzle pieces so they find peace. I’ve even channeled for some people, and that level of intuitiveness is growing. It all depends on each person’s needs and where they are in this life’s journey.
I’m not a therapist, but I have had a lot of varied life experiences which helps when someone needs to feel like you ‘get it’ because you’ve walked a similar (if not that exact) path. I often wondered why I had so many experiences that I had to work through, but now I know. You can’t really get it unless you’ve been there yourself personally. All the books on (for example) living with cancer are great to read, but unless you’ve endured cancer, you don’t quite get the nuances of those middle of the night terrors, etc.
Does that make sense to you?
So I’ve chosen: Intuitive Companion and Mentor as my ‘label’ even though I don’t like the idea of a label. But there it is. I’m just me. Here to help you along the way. Be your friend. Hold your hand and walk this part of the journey with you.
