Do you feel it? That crisp energy in the air? It’s intoxicating to me. I love it. It embodies new beginnings for me. You can’t take the excitement of a new school year out of a retired teacher, you know! It’s a different energizer when Fall arrives. I can’t really explain how it affects me, but it positively does!
So now that it’s officially Fall, there’s lots to do. Gone are the lazy days of a hot summer and onto the invigorating crisp newness of getting ready for the winter months at home. This is that beautiful time of transition when it’s perfect weather to be outside, not too hot, not too cold, before we hunker down for a snowy winter.
It’s a time for long walks, locals summer at the beach and beginning to bake, cook and enjoy! Apple picking, pumpkin patches and hay rides make me giddy! While I am not a fan of anything pumpkin flavored (keep my coffee pure please!), I do like the smell of pumpkin pie…
How about you? Are you a fan of the Fall Equinox?
I used to hate it, but I love it now. It’s funny how we can not appreciate things until later on in life.

I know all about that – hindsight being 20/20 and the foolishness of youth…but I love that we’re here now, connecting and appreciating! 🙂 So nice to meet you!
