I love September! Cooler weather invigorates me and the start of the school year feels fresh and new to me. After humid days and nights, I welcome the refreshing start of September! Don’t you?
I changed up the seasonal decor in my home and it felt good. The rich hues of autumn go so well with the change of season. A few pumpkins, along with red, green and gold leaves and as always, the twinkling white lights which always make me happy.
September brings its challenges to getting back into a routine and re-evaluating our lives. Especially during this Covid time, I keep finding people are antsy and cranky. Perhaps it’s the planetary influences or simply that there’s fear afoot with the virus and what’s going on in our world.
Either way, it’s a great chance for you to find some time to be still over the coming weekend and to allow your mind to quiet itself. Perhaps you could take this time to ask yourself some questions.
- Are you happy? If not, what can you change?
- If you can’t change your circumstances, what do you need to do in order to be happier?
- Can it be done? Then, let’s make a plan to do it!
