Do you know what your life’s purpose is? Have you ever given any thought to it? I’m finding that people are talking about this subject more and more lately. I have clients coming to me wanting help in learning more about themselves and searching for answers as to what is their life about after all the changes we’ve been through, especially this year.
It’s no wonder considering all that we’ve endured because we’ve all been through similar circumstances that have given us time to think due to the quarantine. For many it hasn’t been easy to unravel for what’s been coming up as triggers have been coming – memories, events and dreams – and they touch on those parts of us that we thought we had previously healed. I guess we have a little ways to go in order to clean out the wounds from life’s experiences. But it’s getting better.
There are also people who are finding that they’d prefer a simpler way of life and are searching for how to expand on their life’s purpose. I keep hearing people talk of downsizing, removing clutter and finding minimalism to help to heal them. While I’m not there yet, I do find that I’m decluttering more and more and letting go of items that could be more useful to someone else. Passing those treasures along so that they get a renewal too.
Finding your purpose in life doesn’t have to be difficult. Sometimes we are inspired by a chance encounter with someone or a situation that opens up a whole new world to us that we realize feels like home. It feels right and we grow excited to pursue it!
Have you experienced that passionate response or that quiet knowing that you’re doing what you’re meant to do yet?
