Well, we did it. We got a Christmas Golden Retriever puppy. We had been thinking of adding to our family for awhile, but I always believed that when the right pup came along, we’d know…and we did.
His name is Buster. I don’t even know how he got the name, but I think it fits. He’s a big ball of mushy love and is laid back and sweet. He’s on the small side for his age which is 11 weeks today, but I’m sure we’ll be fattening him up soon (in a healthy way of course)!
Life with a puppy is a joyful change for sure! It’s evolving as we learn each other’s schedules and languages. He’s learning what “no” means and we’re learning what each bark is trying to tell us! LOL
Anyway, that’s why I haven’t been writing the last few days because it’s been a bit hectic here as I am sure you can imagine! I could use some helpful puppy training tips if anyone has them. Or if you got a Christmas puppy too, I’d love to hear about your new little bundle of joy so please share!
