“Courage doesn’t happen when you have all the answers. It happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding your whole life.”
Shannon L. Alder
Let’s begin the week with some inspiration! I have been listening to many people lately who are questioning relationships, careers, decisions and plans for the future. What you may perceive as being in a difficult time, I see as opportunity for making a Joyful Change.
As this quote explains, it’s when you are ready to question what is not working in your life is when you are able to change what isn’t working! It’s when you’ve felt that inner courage working to pump you up with the impetus to make the necessary changes for a better life for yourself.
You are the author, the screenwriter of you own life. As it flows, it is you who is in charge. I find many people, myself included, that we forget that we have the opportunity to choose and choose again when necessary. While it is never a fun experience to face the questions we’ve been avoiding our whole lives, it is rather eye-opening when we do. Answering those questions which have plagued us, face to face with honesty of what ‘it’ means, allows us a freedom to see our lives in a different way. To choose what we want, who we want in our lives and how we want to live our lives is key.
So on a Monday morning, perhaps you could take a quiet look at what you’ve been questioning and allow yourself the freedom to take a step back to see the answers. Then you can process the emotions surrounding them and take out your pen to write your next steps. I can help you with this if you need a good sounding board, someone to process the answers with and to help you find the path that is right for you!
Happy Monday everyone! You already have the courage within you. Why not use it?!
