Welcome To Your Next Chapter

It’s Summer Solstice and the time is ripe for change. At least that’s how I’m feeling, so I thought I’d take you along with me as we dive into some different subjects that may or may not resonate with you. Because I feel like it’s time to put the pen in my hand and deliberately write this one out for the next month. Does that feel like a challenge to you too? One that you’re interested in? Well, then let’s get started!

Grab a journal. Make one. Buy one. I’ve been known to use a simple one subject notebook LOL! Use one that somebody gave you years ago. But get one and begin. Your job is to write everyday – even if it’s just a list of what you liked about your day and what you didn’t. Because let’s be fair, there are good things and bad things to everyday. That’s what happens. It’s your perspective which changes the way you look at them.

Here are some ideas to write about:

  1. Make a gratitude list (gratitude)
  2. Write a letter to someone and tell them how you feel (even though you won’t send it) (forgiveness)
  3. Write out a work scenario and how you’d like it to unfold (manifesting!)
  4. Describe your perfect day (manifesting)
  5. Make a poem or song lyrics (creativity)
  6. Write your eulogy (memoir)
  7. Screenplay out a conversation that you’d like to have happen (manifesting a screenplay)
  8. Lists – your appointments, your TO DO list, your “I need to get this done” list and maybe even “What I’d love to do” list
  9. Write your Bucket List in its entirety and cross off what you’ve already done!
  10. Just Free Write – which means put the pen to the paper and allow your hand to write whatever comes to mind
