Let’s Think About This…

What’s written on the pages of your oughtobiography?

Stop and take a moment to think about this…you’ve heard of autobiography – your memoir of your life as you see it. But what’s written in this book? What ought you have done that you’re still waiting to start?

I’m not talking about cleaning out the trunks in the attic or the junk in the basement. I’m not even referring to the ‘I should eat better, exercise, blah blah blah’ either. I’m talking to you about why you’re here. What’s your purpose? What are you here to acomplish that you are only dabbling in or have turned your back completely on because it seems silly, there’s no time, I’ll do it tomorrow…etc. etc. and so forth…

Am I getting to you yet? Because that’s my plan… (happy grin).

We have one half of a year left in 2023 and while there’s no real urgency here, I think it’s important to think about these things, to start on the path as it were, to become clearer with what’s important to us and what’s just filler. What’s at the heart of what you want your legacy to be? What do you want to do with your life that you haven’t done already? Because I’m sure you haven’t been sitting around on your laurels eating bon bons and taking it easy!

Is there something that you wanted to do, but were too cautious to try it? Is there a deep longing within to try, but you’re unsure? Do you need a hand to hold? Perhaps someone outside your circle to believe in you while you test the waters? To hold your hand while you steady yourself and balance all the balls you’re juggling in your life right now?

Use the theme of OUGHTOBIOGRAPHY for your journal for the next few days and let’s see what unfolds for you!

Why not shoot for the moon? Because the worst case scenario is….

We’ll land among the stars!!!
