I have a love for books and I enjoy connecting to characters (both in books and in real life!). Sharing your story and inspiring others is what makes authors’ stories come to life for me. As a lifelong learner, I find that books have helped me in many facets of my life! I love all different genres too! Here are just a few of my personal favs!
Author Kaitlin O’Riley – any of her novels but especially the Hamilton Sisters/Cousins Series like her latest The Unexpected Heiress for a good historical romance.
You Don’t Know Jack! by Bobbi Rise (if you think you’re loved one is sending signs from the other side, you may be right!)
The Anxious Hippie by Lucie Dickenson (help for those who have food sensitivities and anxiety)
Growth: Flipping the Switch on my Life Changing Moment by Dylan Finn (for an inspirational come back) Dylan’s instagram
The Cane Kids by Kristen Lang (this one taught me about navigating life as someone who is legally blind and how we can adapt books via an audio-described version, braille text files, and an ASL- interpreted video accessible via a NaviLens QR Code) Click here to purchase
Titty Tales by Katie Rader (coming soon but I got a sneak peek!) An inspiring journey through breast cancer.
Author James J. Cudney Watching Glass Shatter was his debut, but I have really enjoyed all of his contemporary fiction family dramas and mysteries.
Raising Autism: Surviving the Early Years by Kimberlee Rutan McCafferty – the title says it all!
Magical Athena by Sha Sha Dolly – a children’s book about connecting with nature that can also be for adults!
And soooo many more!
Share your favs in the comments! I’m always looking for something new to read and to learn!
Thank you so much! I love sharing our message and have been so grateful for all the positive reviews!

Hi Yvonne 🙂 nice post! I am a bit late on this one, but I really wanted to leave a recent favorite of mine: I decided to live as me by Kim Suhyun. This is a book that discusses about learning to be ourselves without caring what others think about us, without comparing ourselves to others. It is beautiful to live the way we are. It’s the best book I read this year and I can’t recommend it enough.
