I remember when I was a child that I liked this book. Specifically in the story, the Little Train had to go up a big hill, but he was broken down. Many other train engines came by, but none would help until a Little Blue Engine who had never even gone up the hill decided to help and succeeded by repeating:
I think I can. I think I can. I think I can.
What stayed with me was the value of optimism and hard work and how supportive everyone was when the Little Blue Engine took that leap of faith, tried (and succeeded!) when the others would not try nor help the broken down engine.
I think this is why I love what I do. Much like the Little Blue Engine who was willing to help those in need, I am here for you. To encourage you. To inspire you. To help you. To ignite within you a spark of willingness to get out of your comfort zone to live the life you want!
I know this is a children’s book which you may not be familiar with, but the parable is relevant when you realize all the parts of it. In case you’re interested, I posted a video of someone reading it so that you can listen to it.
Be like the Little Blue Engine and help others and yourself! What you believe, comes true so never forget to say:
I think I can. I think I can. I think I can…
And you’ll be right! YOU CAN!
