A Reason To Be Creative

While I’m not an artist and really can’t draw nor paint, I do love to write in cursive. I have my own style which is a mishmash of printing and cursive, and I love to handwrite letters to friends. Often they will comment on my writing style by saying it’s unusual and that I have a flair for it which pleases me. I have looked into those hand-lettering books and calligraphy workbooks, but I only want to be inspired by them and not really change my own writing style. I guess I just want to enhance my own writing in a way.

Have you ever gotten one of those? Or watched a YouTube video about them? I gave some friends Mindful Lettering workbooks complete with tracing paper and lots of fun colorful pens, but I haven’t heard if they found it soothing or not. I thought about getting one for me because they had simple phrases that were inspirational as well, but in the end, I didn’t.

But I love to be creative with writing. I love languages as well. I use Canva.com for my posts and often find myself creating all sorts of fun things on it. Many never get published, but I really do enjoy it!
