When “I” is replaced by “WE”
Then Illness Becomes WELLNESS
I came across this quote and I wanted to share it with you because it makes so much sense to me. Being a breast cancer survivor, I remember the illness and even though I am almost 2 decades from diagnosis, I remember those who helped me through it. Because it took a village (sorry for the cliché) to help me to heal.
I often talk about holding your hand or having my hand held in order to get through something. Whether physically holding hands or just figuratively, I think it helps us all to have a friend when life’s difficulties arrive. Don’t you?
That’s why I call myself a Companion and Mentor because sometimes you need someone who isn’t in the middle of your situation and who can observe more clearly what’s necessary in order to make a Joyful Change in your life.
Placing our wellness high on our priority list is crucial for if we aren’t well (physically, mentally, emotionally) then what do we have? One can have a ton of money, but if they’re not well, the value decreases. When we’re not happy in our situation, we can bring on illness. Did you know that?
Disease is DIS-EASE in the body. Think about that for a moment. Some people run around this world looking to the outside of the body for cures, for instant gratification, for whatever they’re lacking, but all that we need is here for us. We just need to tap into it.
I read a book by Louise Hay many years ago. It’s called, You Can Heal Your Life. Have you read it yet? I highly recommend it! Perhaps we can talk about it in the next few days if there’s interest. Let me know.
I hope you have a lovely day!
I used to have a pack of inspirational cards that were Louise Hay quotes. The idea was you picked a random card each day and that was your meditation for the day. I’ve not read any of her books, but the cards were fun. Hadn’t thought of those cards in years.

Hey Ally! I have those cards too! Perhaps there’s a reason you thought of them today? Her books were really interesting to me and the more I read, the more I understood what she was saying. 🙂 Thanks for taking the time to stop by and to comment! I hope you’re having a great day!! Find your cards and pull one! Let’s see what yours says!

I have no idea what became of those cards. They were lost in one move or another. Still, thinking about them brings a smile to my face.
