Often when I talk with friends and clients, I am told how I have helped them to change their perspective. It’s not that I start out wanting to change their viewpoint, but it happens. When we’re processing a dilemma, it’s often good to have someone else to talk it over with in order to see the whole picture because it’s hard to do on your own.
Why is it easier to do with someone else? Because I’m listening on a different level as you recount the incident or talk about your feelings. From the observer point of view, there’s a bigger picture at work. I get insights at times from the Knowing which allows me to help you to clarify, prioritize and even better understand what you’re going through and how to help yourself.
Of course, I’m here to help you as well, but it is you who has to do the work. There’s a path that we are on and perhaps one that we choose to be on and maybe even another one that we want to be on. What we can work on is how to converge all of these paths in order to make a Joyful Change in your life.
Don’t be afraid to reach out! Sometimes it’s really helpful to have someone who will hold your hand for a little while and walk with you on this life’s journey!
