Virtual Hugs, Hugs, and More Hugs

I’m noticing so many people hurting these days. I always feel like a virtual hug (or better yet, a REAL ONE) helps immensely when we’re not quite sure what’s going on, but we know that we need a little extra TLC (tender loving care).

So here I am. Sending out virtual hugs to all of you! Because you never know when you just need someone’s kindness and caring to wrap around you, even only for a few moments of reprieve from your stress.

I’m a hugger. Can’t you tell? I think I’d die if I weren’t allow to hug anymore. Of course, I won’t hug you if you’re not comfortable. But if you are, well, get ready to receive a big ol’ bear hug from me! Granted I may need to be on a step nearby to hug you properly because I am short…but my kids are tall and I can make them feel safe and hugged by standing on the step, so I can help you too!!

I like to hug I all different ways. There are different ways you know…or didn’t you know?

There’s the one where you make a growl noise, like you throw your back into it – grrrr (kinda bear like) and pull that person into your chest so that they get the full vibrational effect! That’s one that usually gets a giggle because it’s so unexpected. I’m a good growler too!

Then, there’s the sincere, serene hold of a hug. The kind where you envelope the person in your arms, they put their head on your shoulder, you tuck them into you and just support them with your entire being. That type wraps up source love energy.

There’s also the playful hug where we rock back and forth as if we’re dancing. That one usually shares a laugh together as we celebrate you!

There’s the momma hold hug which requires a little planning, but still do-able! I sit on the couch, you sit across my lap and I hold you like a child, your head resting on my chest. Usually this one allows for deep breathing together synchronized. I follow your lead. There may be some rocking on my part, forward and backward, so as to mimic being gently rocked as a child.

There are more types of hugs, but each depends on what you need. So if you’re needing a hug, reach out! I’ve got plenty here to share!
