Have you allowed yourself to answer the question: What Do You Want?
It can feel like an overwhelming question when you ask yourself what you want because many times, we don’t know for sure. We only know that we aren’t happy where we are, but we don’t know how to change it to make it better. Have you been feeling this way?
It helps to have someone to process the question with when you’re feeling adrift and alone. Friends and family sometimes have their own agendas as to what they want you to do or how they feel about the situation, whereas someone like me doesn’t have any preconceived notions about you. I am simply processing the question from where you are today without any background or past knowledge to deter me from seeing your potential!
We all have the ability to choose what we want in this life. We can joyfully change at any time. That’s the gift we have as humans. But many of us get stuck in the present by allowing the past wounds and the future anxiety to overwhelm us.
That’s where baby steps in this process makes sense. There are few who can change overnight, but all can joyfully embrace change for the better! That’s the gift in this lifetime. So knowing all of that, can you ask yourself the question again? Can you write out what a perfect day might look like for you? Would you be willing to expand your limited thinking to imagine a life that feels good to you?
