I Want To Be Seen

Have you said this to yourself or to someone you trust recently? I just want to be seen…because you feel like those around you don’t seem to understand you or see you for who you are or who you’ve been becoming on a spiritual level?

I understand. This is becoming more common now as we rise to 5D. What and how life worked for us in terms of relationships, work, and situations no longer seems to fit, but there’s not yet something to replace it. It’s as if the computer program we were working off of has had an update, but there’s no instruction manual on how to deal with the new version. It’s a trying time for many on a spiritual path who don’t have a support system, a tribe, or Ohana as I like to call it. Some are feeling as if they’ve been set adrift with no paddle, nor way to maneuver through this time period. Confused by the lack of understanding they’re receiving from others, I am finding people need to be supported, nurtured, and listened to with levels of understanding that they’re not getting from those whom they relied on previously.

It can feel very lonely when you don’t feel understood or seen. There’s a tendency to shut down and to want to shut off connections because those in your life aren’t getting you (understanding you). Sometimes if feels as if they’re too wrapped up in their own lives to pay attention to yours. You may find that you’re giving more, and they’re taking more, and you’re tired. You want a little more give and take in your relationships, but you don’t want to be seen as selfish. You just want someone to notice that you’re more tired than usual, that you need a little extra kindness, that you’re finding it hard to deal with their emotions while yours seem to fade into the background. It’s not like tit for tat (equality) exactly, but it feels like there’s a blindness to your relationships. It’s as if you ask how they are, but they don’t ask how you are because they’re too entangled in their own lives. The word myopic comes to mind here and for as much as you may try to get them to ask, to see your needs/life, they are blind.
