Life doesn’t unfold as we plan.
We all live unexpected lives
in one way or another.
But sooner or later,
we have to decide
how we are going to make the most of the
unexpected life.– Matthew Kelly
The unexpected life is an amazing concept to me because how many of us have wondered, “How did I get here?” over the years. Especially at this point, many have said to me that their present life is not where they thought they’d be. Does this resonate with you too?
Personally, I had a plan in mind for my future. While it wasn’t too specific, the generalities were there. Fall in love, marry, have children, work at a career that I enjoyed and be a happy, loving person who lived a long life connecting with my family, friends and loved ones. Simple, right? What was yours?
My plan did manifest overall, but with some unexpected twists and turns as many of us experience. This 2020 year has been a year of awakenings for me. Are you feeling similarly? I have been able to observe many parts of my life that had been previously unseen. It has been difficult for me to see behind the scenes and realize the breadcrumbs of knowledge I had been missing. But the eye-opening situations that resulted in these revelations have resulted in an increase in wisdom and the gift of an inner knowing as channels previously blocked have opened…unexpectedly.
Change is a springboard to growth and while it is not easy to embrace change, one can find the Joy in the healing power of change. Hence: Joyful Change!
