The willingness for people to open up and to share their stories is always inspiring to me. I find that sharing my story helps people, so I do it in order to help someone else, not to brag on what I’ve survived or to gain pity for what I’ve endured. I hope that in reading my blog by now, you can tell who I am by the way I write.
I’m me. A girl who wears her heart on her sleeve. I always have. That’s how I’m made. It’s been a good trait and a not so good one over the years. It makes me more vulnerable to those heartbreaking experiences, but it also makes the good experiences even better. I could have changed who I was innately when my heart was broken wide open, but I didn’t. I can’t change who I am…and neither should you.
The Evolution of Remembering Me (REMEVOLUTION) came about after the divorce. It took me a long time to heal my heart. Now that I’ve had open heart surgery, I know that my ‘broken heart’ was real and is now medically fixed! So I’m even more determined to move on and to help those of you who are suffering. Because help is here. Hold my hand. Let’s work through the feelings so that you can learn the lessons and heal. You do remember this is life school, right? Not all of our lessons are fun…but they are all here to help us on this path.
